Hello, Tony and his crew have recently performed two large new construction roof installations including solar.

His crews are methodical and very courteous and professional. Tony makes sure that high attention to detail is kept throughout, from the double synthetic felt to his patented elevated batt that is designed for any water that gets past tile to simply roll down the felt unobstructed preventing dryrot damage to batt over the lifetime of roof.

We had both roof work and solar done by Century Roof and Solar, and my experience with them could not have been better. I’ve recommended them to everyone.

Let me get the few negatives out of the way: Century Roof and Solar is not cheap but you really get what you pay for, and updates leading up to the start day was could have been clearer. And that’s it! Beyond that, the work was impeccable and the workers were diligent and sensitive to the fact that we have small kids running around the house. They accommodated any special requests we made, like tarping up when it got overcast, or being careful near the nanny’s car.

Before the solar work began, Tony gave us a very detailed and technical breakdown of the equipment to be installed, expected ROI, etc. and walked us thru the process. The installation was quick, clean, and beautiful looking! His estimates have been dead on so far and we’re getting great solar performance our first full month under PGE’s NME usage plan.

I also want to make special mention that Tony is just a great guy. Friendly and passionate about solar, incredibly knowledgeable about the whole industry, and best of all, generous with his time and knowledge. There is a reason that people who know anything about solar or construction use him too. I felt like we were developing a professional relationship, not just contracting some house work. This is how ALL contracting should work, he sets the bar.
